How White House Revival CNC’s Decorative Wood Trim; Old World Handcrafted or Modern Produced Junk?

Creating Superior Quality Woodwork
Unlike today’s cookie-cutter neighborhoods, antique homes are all uniquely attractive due to the time invested by skilled craftsmen. These homes incorporate the character of the design period along with those of the men who built them. In the modern world, it seems companies hide their unacceptable mass-produced products behind ambiguous policies and disconnected customer service. At WHR we believe our production methods bridge the gap between these two worlds to create a superior product and customer experience. Here’s how we do it.
Using Original Antique Resources to Create Our Wood Trim Keeps Them Authentic
Above is an Art Nouveau bracket we recreated from the 1904 Radford “Universal Design and Official Moulding Book”. Instead of just drawing random designs and labeling them as Victorian or Art Deco, many of our trim pieces are inspired by original source materials and catalogs. This maintains the authentic period correct styling worthy of your special home. Once we find the perfect candidate to resurrect, the catalog image is used as a reference where each and every detail is drawn by hand. Our selection and design process is labor-intensive, but we are working hard to create these iconic pieces. If you don’t see the correct decorative trim style for your home, please contact us with clear images.

Hand-Sanding Makes a Smooth and Professional Finish
After the drawing is complete, our decorative trim is precision-machined from solid wood on our in-house CNC machine. Each piece is carefully removed and inspected by hand to ensure it meets our standards. WHR doesn’t ship any product to a customer we wouldn’t be happy to install on our own home. Once we select the nicest pieces, they are hand-sanded for a smooth finish that is ready to accept paint or stain.
Personal Connections & Quality Trim Make the Difference
In an era of poorly crafted throwaways, WHR seeks to build personal connections with our customers and invest the time required to produce quality trim for their homes. While the old ways of handcrafting a home are being lost to history, we strive to bridge the gap using modern technology, but with a timeless hands-on approach. White House Revival is a family-operated business, and we personally complete every stage of production.
